OEC runs four services each Sunday at our Ministry Centre. These start at 9am, 10:45am, 4pm and 6:30pm.

What can you expect at our Sunday services?

We gather together

Church means gathering and so gathering is what OEC is all about. Orange Evangelical Church has four congregations that meet every Sunday, and many other groups that meet throughout the week. If you come along to any of these gatherings you can expect to find everyday people of every age enjoying one another’s company, and encouraging each other in their Christian life.
We pray and read the bible

The Bible is the basis of everything we do and so at OEC you can expect to hear the Bible read and explained to people who are keen to learn. We also respond to God in prayer thanking him and asking him for the help and strength we need to trust and obey him.
We are family focused

Another thing that you can expect at OEC is lots of families with children— as a result we work hard at catering for families with kids with things like Creche, ‘Kids Talks’ and ‘Kids Church.’

Here are some quick answers to some frequently asked questions. If there is something specific you would like to know, get in touch with us!

The OEC Ministry Centre is wheel chair and pram friendly.
We have disability and parents parking in the top carpark and plenty of room in the auditorium for you to take your wheelchair, walker or pram into the service with you.
There are also friendly welcomers who are more than happy to help you find what you need or help you get around.
There is an accessible bathroom available also.
We love children and families.
Please don’t worry about whether your babies or little people are a noisy. They are very welcome in church with you. There is a cry room for parents/carers who need a quiet space for their child. You will be able to see and hear everything that goes on in church.
During term time, we run an age based kids programs. These are slightly different for each service but you can expect a Creche (ages 1 - 3 years old), a Preschool Class (ages 3 - 5 years old) and Kids Church classes for Kindergarten to Year 6. These programs will begin after the kids talk during the service. All our Kids Church teachers are specially trained and have WWCC.

The OEC Ministry Centre has a hearing loop for those with hearing aids.
